We are a small shop in the Seattle area. Most of what we do is paid agency work. These two things are not that.
The first is for owners who have been putting off a website because every quote comes back in the thousands. The second is for people around here who cannot get hired without experience and cannot get experience without being hired.

If you are in school around here, or you finished recently and your resume has nothing on it yet, come build one of these sites with us. This is a paid role. You work with an actual customer against an actual deadline, and you leave with a live site you can point at when an interviewer asks what you have shipped.

Why we do this
A lot of the businesses we like around here are running on a Facebook page and a phone number, and that is costing them customers who look them up and find nothing. A lot of people who want into this work cannot get a first job without having already done the job. Neither problem is hard to fix and neither one needs to be expensive.
